Erick Olivas has a diverse work experience. In 2014, they worked as a Referee for Salt Lake County. From 2017 to 2022, they held various roles at Discover Financial Services, including Sr Foreign Language Collections Agent, Sr Lead Collections Mentor, Sr Collections Agent, Personal Loans Specialist, and Sr Collections Miner. Erick also served as a Bilingual Collections Peer Mentor and had expertise in credit card assistance, recovery, and customer service. In 2018, they played soccer for the University of Utah. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as an Assistant Coach at East High School and coached the soccer team. In 2021, they founded Spike17, a company that creates video highlights for top players, teams, and businesses. The company's mission is to provide players with quality highlight videos and help young athletes develop their technical skills to play at the next level. In the same year, they also volunteered as a Content Producer for African Stars SC, where they led a summer project to form a second UPSL team. From 2021 to 2022, they played as a Semi-Pro Soccer Player for the African Stars in the UPSL Premier Mountain Division, serving as the team's starter and captain. In 2022, they joined Pluralsight as a Federal BDR, responsible for identifying and aligning meetings with IT leaders in the Federal Sector to discuss partnership opportunities. Currently, they are working as a Business Development Representative at Flashlight Learning and is soon transitioning to the role of Business Development Team Leader and subsequently as a Business Development Manager. Additionally, they are also involved with the Utah Avalanche Soccer Club as a Coach since 2022.
