Paul Miller

Paul Miller has been in the business and science industry for over 20 years. Paul started their career in 1997 as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois. Paul then continued their studies at Purdue University, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from 1999 to 2003. In 2003, Paul moved to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher until 2005. In 2005, they joined Waterborne Environmental, Inc. as Manager of Engineering. From 2014 to 2018, Paul worked at Agrible, Inc. as Lead of Product Development and Chief Science Officer. In 2018, they joined Nutrien Ag Solutions as Senior Director of Science and Analytics and Head of Science and Analytics. Most recently, in 2020, Paul became Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Flats or Spikes, where they focus on business management, financial projections, fundraising, managing legal, marketing, managing social media, company storytelling, and branding.

Paul Miller obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Agricultural Engineering (Natural Resources Engineering) from Purdue University in 2003. Paul had previously obtained their Master of Science (MS) in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1999.
