Kurt Heisinger

Kurt Heisinger is an experienced academic and author with a robust background in accounting and finance. Currently serving as an Author at FlatWorld since 2012, Heisinger co-authored the Managerial Accounting textbook alongside Joe Hoyle. As a Professor at Sierra College since 1997, Heisinger teaches various accounting and business courses both online and on-ground, and previously held the position of Interim Dean for the Tahoe-Truckee Campus, overseeing its relocation and opening in 2008. Additionally, Heisinger has been an Adjunct Accounting Professor at Sacramento City College since 2017 and has served as an Adjunct Lecturer at UC Davis Graduate School of Management. Earlier in the career, Heisinger held audit senior roles at EY and Perry-Smith LLP. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
