Alexandra F.

Alexandra F. is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in science and mathematics instruction. Currently serving as a Science Content Specialist at The Florida Department of Education since June 2019, Alexandra develops assessment items for statewide science assessments and collaborates with various teams to create effective assessment forms. Previously, Alexandra worked as an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Tallahassee Community College, where course creation and student engagement were key responsibilities. Additional educational roles include serving as a Math Teacher at Leon County Public Schools and multiple teaching and research positions at Florida State University and Tallahassee Community College. Alexandra holds a Master of Science in Biology and Secondary Science Education and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Florida State University.
