John Pu

John Pu has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Currently, they serve as the Owner and VP Operations at Fleet Clean USA, a position they began in December 2021. Prior to that, they were a Director on the Board of Directors at DeliverRe Insurance Ltd since May 2021.

From 2019 until the present, John Pu was the Founder and President of JORO Logistics LLC. Under their leadership, the company grew to over 60 employees and 20+ routes, achieving 7-figure revenue. John focused on superior customer service, excellent delivery quality metrics, and safety, resulting in consistent top 10 rankings in the network.

John also has experience as the General Manager of China Tobacco Schweitzer (Yunnan) Reconstituted Tobacco Inc. Ltd from July 2011 to March 2017. John was responsible for overall project management and operations of the joint venture company, overseeing the construction of a greenfield plant.

Before that, they held multiple roles at SWM International (Schweitzer-Mauduit International Inc) from 1998 to 2017. Notably, they served as a Project Director, overseeing the successful planning and completion of a state-of-the-art greenfield plant in China. John also held positions such as BCP Manufacturing Manager, Process Engineering Manager, and Product Commercialization and Development Manager.

John began their career at Hollingsworth & Vose as a Product Development Engineer in 1997.

John Pu earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Grinnell College, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. John then pursued a Master of Science degree in Pulp and Paper Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Institute of Paper Science and Technology), completing their studies from 1995 to 1997.
