Jack-Daniyel Strong's work experience includes a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Jack-Daniyel started their career in 1996 as a Database Analyst Programmer and GIS Technician at Spokane County. Here, they were responsible for developing database-driven applications and Geographic Information System tools.

In 2003, Strong founded J-D Strong Consulting, Inc., where they served as President. Jack-Daniyel was an Apple Certified Specialist and worked as a Certified Member of the Apple Consultants Network and an Apple Authorized Business Partner.

In 2005, Strong became a Board Member at Ignite! Community Theatre, providing technology support and guidance to the organization. Jack-Daniyel also served as the Technology Chair for First Night Spokane from 2003 to 2006, overseeing the development and maintenance of the organization's web-based management database and implementing technological enhancements for the New Year's Eve event.

In 2012, Strong became the President of the East Spokane Business Association, working towards a unified voice for businesses in the East Central Neighborhood. Jack-Daniyel was responsible for promoting the organization, increasing membership, and organizing events.

From 2016 to 2022, Strong worked as an Application Support Specialist at Watchman Monitoring, providing documentation, technical writing, and onboarding support. Jack-Daniyel also played a role in refining internal processes using platforms such as Zendesk, TextExpander, Wordpress, and MailChimp.

In 2020, Strong became the Podcast Co-Host and Editor for the MacDevOps:YVR Podcast. Jack-Daniyel interviewed guests and discussed topics related to managing Macs using open-source software projects.

From 2022 to 2023, Strong worked as a Technical Content Specialist at Netgate, where they developed a Video Content Plan and produced video content on various network security concepts.

Currently, Strong is working as a Client Platform Engineer at Fleet Device Management. Jack-Daniyel engages with the Fleet and osquery community, develops content strategies, and represents the community within the organization.

Jack-Daniyel Strong began their education in 1995 at Gonzaga University, where they studied Civil Engineering and Computer Science. Jack-Daniyel attended Gonzaga University until 1999, but did not earn a specific degree during this time. In 1999, Jack-Daniyel transferred to Eastern Washington University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. Jack-Daniyel completed their studies at Eastern Washington University in 2001. In 2016, Jack-Daniyel obtained two certifications from Apple, namely the Apple Certified Associate Mac Integration 10.11 and the Apple Certified Support Professional 10.11.
