Dan Davies

Dan Davies has a diverse range of work experience in business development and strategic roles. Dan started their career in 2004 as a Project Coordinator at the University of Worcester, where they managed a European Social Fund project. Dan then worked as a Business Development Manager at Graduate Advantage, focusing on client account management and team management.

In 2010, Dan founded their own company called i-BDM Ltd as an Independent Business Development Manager. Dan worked with clients in various industries such as defense, security, law enforcement, government, corporate, and new technology. Dan enjoyed the variety of their work and the opportunity to build relationships and connect people.

Dan also worked with several technology companies in advisory and strategic roles. At Fleetonomy.ai, they served as the UK Director Strategic Business Development, advising the founding team and focusing on fleet management software for autonomous vehicles. Dan also served as an Advisor/Founding Team member at ZoVolt Limited, providing strategic business development advice for Peer-to-Peer communications technology in the Internet of Things sector.

During their time at eTravelSafety, Dan worked as a Business Development Manager through i-BDM. Dan'srole involved raising awareness and creating strategic engagements in industries including corporate, defense, government, insurance, and technology-based teams. Dan focused on providing digital travel safety solutions to organizations looking to enhance their duty of care to employees.

Dan also held Business Development Manager positions at The Surveillance Group and NetWatch Global, working on lead generation, contract negotiation, and account management in sectors such as government, law enforcement, security, insurance, finance, and corporate investigations.

In 2012, Dan worked as a Business Development Director at Serious Games International, specializing in the application of serious games within defense, military, security, and blue light services.

Dan Davies attended the University of St Andrews from 2015 to 2016, where they pursued an Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Wales, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Social Anthropology. Dan'sfield of study during their time at the University of Wales was focused on Social Research.
