Sudaba Popal

Sudaba Popal, MD, is currently an Internal Medicine Resident at Interfaith Medical Center since July 2024. Sudaba has also held positions as a Research Assistant at Sunnybrook and as a Research Fellow at Lumen Foundation since November and October 2022, respectively. Additionally, Sudaba serves as a USMLE Tutor at TeacherOn.com and as a Medical Scribe at Aquity Solutions, both since September 2022. Community involvement includes a volunteer role at Flemingdon Health Centre, contributing to setup and pack-up of community engagement programs, alongside a prior Clinical Observer role at Nassau Suffolk Internal Medicine. Sudaba gained observational experience as a Medical Observer at Brooklyn Cancer Care Medical PC, and previously led a team of health screeners at the Toronto Foundation for Student Success. Educationally, Sudaba holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Herat University.
