Dr. Clifford Burns

Dr. Clifford Burns currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for the Flemington-Raritan Regional School District since March 2024. Previously, Dr. Burns was the Superintendent of Schools for Andover Regional School District from July 2021 to March 2024 and held the position of Principal at Randolph Township Board of Education from July 2013 to June 2021. Dr. Burns began the educational career as an Assistant Principal at Vernon Township Board of Education from 2010 to 2013 and as an Assistant Principal at Stanhope Public Schools from August 2008 to June 2010. The foundational years included teaching roles, starting as an Elementary Teacher at Hanover Township Board of Education from September 2005 to July 2008 and various positions at Salem Drive Elementary. Dr. Burns holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Seton Hall University, along with multiple master's degrees and a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Alliance University.
