Alex Timoshenko

Alex Timoshenko has a diverse work experience in the field of infrastructure, platform engineering, and DevOps. Alex is currently working as a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer at Fletch since July 2022. Prior to this, they were a Platform Engineer at Flywheel.io from August 2020 to January 2022. Alex also worked as a Sr. DevOps Engineer at Caption Health from November 2018 to June 2020 and at Alation Inc. from January 2018 to November 2018. Before that, they were a Firmware Test Lab Automation Sr. DevOps Engineer at Fitbit from March 2017 to December 2017, a Cloud Network Engineer at PayPal from December 2016 to February 2017, and a DevOps Engineer at Intuit from August 2016 to December 2016.

Alex's earlier experience includes working as a UNIX Sysadmin at Logitech from September 2006 to July 2016. During this time, they gained expertise in RHEL, HP blades, VMWare servers and clusters, AIX, Solaris, NetBackup, Commvault, Puppet, Chef, migration, and scripting languages like bash, Perl, and Python. Before that, they worked as a UNIX Sysadmin Consultant at Jaypar Inc from September 2005 to November 2007 and at TAOS from February 2006 to August 2006.

From 2002 to 2005, Alex attended Ohlone College, where they studied Cisco, VMware, Linux, business supervision, and management. Although no degree is specified, they likely completed coursework in these fields.

In 1992, Alex completed a certificate course in the psychology of learning and activation of memorizing at the Kurinsky Intensive Course of Active Self-Education.

In 2021, they earned a Kubernetes Tools certificate, also from Cloud Academy. In 2020, Alex obtained multiple certifications from Linux Academy, including Certified Associate in Python Programming, DevOps Monitoring Deep Dive, Google Kubernetes Engine Deep Dive, Jenkins CE, System Tooling with Go, Cloud Native Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Deploying Resources to GCP with Terraform, Deploying to AWS with Ansible and Terraform, and Helm Deep Dive V2. In 2016, Alex received a certificate in Python Data Structures from Coursera Course Certificates. Alex also obtained certifications in AWS Architect Certification Training and DevOps from Edureka in 2016.
