Edson Almachar

Edson Almachar has been in the software engineering industry since 2009. In 2009, they began as an Assistant Theatre Technician at the University of Nevada Reno. In 2014, they became a Junior Software Developer at the same university, where they worked on constructing a reporting and graphing interface through SVG manipulation using D3.js and data processing using Angular.js, as well as a backend data streaming service using Flask and WebSockets. In 2015, they moved to RDM Infinity as a Web Developer, where they crafted faster and more readable mobile inventory management systems with jQuery mobile for companies with warehouse distribution sectors, emulated frontend design and backend functionality for handheld barcode scanning equipment, and programmed interface protocols with legacy PICK database systems through an intermediary PHP server. In 2018, they moved to Insight Engines as a Frontend Engineer (Data visualization). edson currently works at Fletch as a Software Engineer, where they are disrupting the world of data by providing ready-to-use analytics that give users instant visibility into their most critical business operation questions.

Edson Almachar obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2014.
