Cathy Lechner

Cathy Lechner has over 20 years of experience in various IT roles. Cathy is currently the Head of IT - Stramit & Oliveri at Fletcher Building since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Cleanaway Waste Management from 2015 to 2023. At Cleanaway, they held multiple positions including Head of Business Resilience and Head of ICT Solutions and Portfolio Management. Cathy also worked as an IT Business Partner, IT Program Manager, and Director at Elite I.T. Services Pty Ltd from 2008 to 2015. Before that, they worked at Australia Post, MEGT, SIRVA, and Groupware Consulting in various IT roles. Their early career includes positions at the Department of Infrastructure, Vantage Systems, and Print Synergy.

Cathy Lechner completed a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science (Database Management & Genetics) from Deakin University between 1993 and 1995. In 2023, they attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors and obtained a degree in Company Directors. Cathy also holds additional certifications including CBCI Qualification from The BCI in 2021, Project A+ from CompTIA in 2008, ITIL Foundation Level from ITIL Certified in 2004, Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., and is a member of the Business Continuity Institute. Cathy is also qualified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
