Misha Ipatov

Misha Ipatov has had a long and varied career in the business sector. Misha has been in the industry since 2008, when they began their role as Business Strategy Project Manager at CHS Europe SARL. In this role, they reviewed the operations of one of the regional offices, analyzed the set-up of competitors, and provided conclusions as to the possible scenarios moving forward. Misha also reviewed the financial model of an asset that the company had, and gave recommendation as to its best business use.

In addition to this role, Ipatov was also an EMEA Corn Trader, managing the corn desk of the company with a trade volume of over three million metric tons across seven origins. Misha also led the partnership initiative with a major seed company for forward corn origination with minimum fixed-price contract. Misha was also a Trader for Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, overseeing commercial operations and execution of wheat, corn and barley transactions from three origins. In 2013/14 season CHS became top-5 grain exporter from Russian deep-sea port.

In 2015, Ipatov began their role as Chief Executive Officer and Finance Manager at Flex Databases. In 2017, they became Company Owner and Managing Partner at TradeSpace. Most recently, in 2020, they began their role as Managing Partner at Algorithmics Central Europe.

Misha Ipatov obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Columbia Business School between 2015 and 2017, with a focus on Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts from the University of Geneva between 2008 and 2010, with a focus on International Trading, Commodity Finance and Shipping. Misha also obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Geneva between 2005 and 2008, with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
