Marjon Enriquez

Account Executive + Academic Programs Lead at Flexcompute

Marjon Enriquez has a diverse range of work experience.

In 2015, they worked as a Research Intern at Harvard Medical School, where they conducted independent research on a protein's effect on blood vessel damage and its interaction with statins.

From 2016 to 2018, Marjon served as the Founder and President of Penn KDSAP, a national community-health initiative that provided free health screenings to uninsured and underinsured individuals. Marjon also worked as a Research Associate at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia during this time, contributing to the development of a mitochondrial gene therapy strategy and leading recruitment for a study on Type 1 diabetes.

Starting in 2018, Marjon became involved in marketing and creative roles. Marjon served as the Head of Marketing for The Pennchants, a university singing group, where they led brand transformation initiatives and managed social media platforms. Marjon was also named a Leader of Tomorrow in the biotechnology industry and worked with a multinational team to design a collaborative platform.

In 2019, Marjon founded Capsyd, an early-stage biotech venture focusing on the discovery and development of anti-bacterials. Marjon led the ideation and development of the startup, utilizing lean startup methodologies and social media marketing tools to raise awareness about antibiotic resistance.

In 2021, Marjon joined Halma plc's Future Leaders Program, where they gained experience in marketing and product management roles.

In 2022, Marjon took on the role of Interim CEO at Sunny Clean Water, an early-stage cleantech startup specializing in solar evaporation and radiative cooling technologies. Marjon also worked as a Product Manager and Business Development Lead for the company.

Most recently, in 2022, Marjon joined Flexcompute as part of their Business Development team.

Marjon Enriquez pursued their education at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Master of Biotechnology degree with a specialization in Biopharmaceutical & Engineering Biotechnology. Marjon attended the university from 2018 to 2020. Prior to their master's degree, Marjon Enriquez completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology at the University of Pennsylvania from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their academic achievements, Marjon Enriquez has also obtained certifications in various fields. In February 2021, they completed the "Vocal Production Techniques: Editing and Mixing in Logic Pro" certification from LinkedIn. Marjon also obtained a certification in "Data Visualization with Python" from IBM in September 2020.
