Giles Lloyd

Giles Lloyd has worked in the materials business since 2019, when they became the Head of Materials Business at FlexEnable. Prior to this, they worked at the Merck Group from 2012 to 2019, where they held the roles of Head of Global Strategic Marketing - Medical and Industrial Electronics and Senior Manager, OE/OPV Marketing and Sales. From 2005 to 2012, they were at Merck Chemicals Ltd, where they were a Business Development Manager, Organic Electronics and Photvoltaics, an Associate Manager, Business Development, and a Senior Research Physicist. From 2001 to 2005, they were a Research Physicist at Avecia, and prior to this, they were a Research Associate at The University of Liverpool from 2000 to 2001.

Giles Lloyd completed their PhD in Solid State Electronics from the University of Liverpool in 2000. Giles received their B. Eng (Hons) in Integrated Circuit Engineering and Electronics from the same university in 1996. Giles also attended Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
