May Wheeler

Optical and Electrical Test Manager at FlexEnable

May Wheeler has worked in a variety of roles in the field of engineering and research since 2005. May began their career as a Summer Internship at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in 2005. In 2010, they took on the role of Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Leeds, where they conducted research on organic spintronics. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Guest Researcher at CIC nanoGUNE, and then as a Scientist, Device Physics at Cambridge Display Technology, where they developed novel point-of-care biosensor technologies. In 2018, they began working at FlexEnable as an Optical and Electrical Test Manager, later becoming an Optical Test Manager, Principal Engineer, and Senior Research Engineer. May also held a Visiting Scientist role at RIKEN in 2018.

May Wheeler completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from the University of Leeds in 2014. May attended the University of Leeds from 2006 to 2010 and earned both a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Physics (MPhys) in Physics. In 2008, they also studied at McMaster University as part of their third year of the integrated BSc MPhys program.
