Andreas Aditya Hermawan is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in environmental engineering and biofiltration systems. At Monash University Malaysia, Andreas served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from August 2018 to August 2022 and previously completed a PhD as a candidate in the same institution from March 2014 to June 2018, focusing on water quality. Andreas also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Monash University Malaysia and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in stormwater quality management using bioretention basins. Additionally, Andreas gained practical experience as a Process Engineer Intern at JKS Engineering, where responsibilities included machine testing, creating manuals, troubleshooting, and assisting in machine assembly. Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Andreas combines academic expertise with hands-on engineering experience.
