Kate Heimes

Kate Heimes, SHRM-CP, currently serves as a Senior People Operations Generalist at Flexport, overseeing North America processes for 1,300 employees, ensuring compliance and efficiency in onboarding, employee life cycle management, and offboarding. Previously, Kate was a Human Resources Generalist at Tetra Tech, providing support for Midwest operations leaders and managing employee relations investigations. At Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc., Kate advanced from a Human Resources Coordinator, where involvement in the implementation of the Workday HRIS system occurred, to a Generalist role, focusing on training, benefits, and compliance. Early in the career, Kate interned at FOCUS Training, contributing to client relations and marketing efforts. Kate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications from Marquette University and continues education at EM Strasbourg Business School.
