Mia Liu

Mia Liu is an accomplished artist with a robust exhibition history and notable accolades, including First Prize at the Kaohsiung Award 2009 and an Artist Grant from the National Culture and Arts Foundation in 2008. Since August 2008, Mia Liu has operated Mia Liu Studio, showcasing works in solo exhibitions such as "The Third Side of Paper" at the SuHo Paper Museum and "Me and More" at the Ecole Cafe Gallery in Taipei. In addition to solo shows, Mia Liu has participated in group exhibitions, including the Kaohsiung Award exhibit at the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts. Educational achievements include an MFA in Painting from Hunter College and a BFA in Painting/New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute. Prior to establishing the studio, Mia Liu gained experience as a Visitor Services Assistant at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and participated in various art-related workshops.
