Andy Reohorn has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Andy started their career in 1984 as a Shop Manager at Ladbroke Racing and then worked as a Salesman at Caffyns Plc. In 1990, they became the Owner of TLC and later Premier Cabs until 2008. Andy then transitioned to a role as an Operational Supervisor at Sussex Police from 2009 to 2012. Following this, they owned and operated Shoreham Airport News from 2011 to 2013. Andy's aviation career began in 2010, where they worked as a Calibration Captain at Flight Calibration Services Ltd and later became a Commercial Pilot and Flying Instructor at Phoenix Flying. In 2019, they joined Gama Aviation as a Captain. Currently, Andy holds the position of Director of Flight Services at Flight Calibration Services Limited, overseeing crew management, calibration and survey pilot activities, and training. Their experience includes work all over the world, particularly in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and other countries.
Andy Reohorn attended Lewes Technical College from 1982 to 1984, where they studied Geography, Geology, and Sociology. Prior to that, from 1976 to 1983, they attended Heathfield School and studied English Language & Literature, Geography, History, Sociology, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Mathematics.
Additionally, Andy has obtained certifications such as CRE/IRR from CAA International - Part of the UK CAA in February 2023, CPL MEIR (PBN), FI IRI MEI, SEP MEP MET, UK FE from UK CAA, and fATPL, current MEIR SPA MPA PBN with valid and current SEP, MEP, and MET ratings from EASA. Andy also received training from Aeros Flight Training in the field of Aviation, although the specific details regarding the start and end years are not provided.
