Richard Geier

Richard Geier is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT development and project management within the aviation sector. As a Product Owner at FlightBridge since May 2023, Richard oversees IT development activities and implements cloud-native AWS applications using CI/CD pipelines. Previously serving as the Director of Application Development at NetJets from August 2002 to May 2023, Richard directed disaster recovery planning, secure coding, and Agile development processes, while also managing various IT initiatives across finance and procurement. Richard's career includes roles such as Application Manager, where implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework was achieved, and as a Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master, focusing on Agile process maturity. Additionally, experience in logistics and vendor management was gained from previous positions at NetJets and the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Richard holds a Master’s degree in Music from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor’s in Music Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
