Corey Pennington

Corey Pennington, CPA, has extensive work experience in various accounting roles. Corey currently serves as the Director of Accounting at FlightSafety International since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. as the Manager of Corporate Accounting from 2019 to 2022, as well as in other roles such as Corporate Accounting Lead and Senior Financial Analyst, SEC Reporting. In 2016, they joined Columbia Pipeline Group as a Senior Financial Analyst, External (SEC) Reporting following a merger with TransCanada Corporation. Corey also worked at NetJets (a Berkshire Hathaway company) as Manager and Senior Internal Auditor, and at Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. as a Staff Accountant II.

Corey Pennington, CPA has a Masters of Accountancy from Wright State University (2011-2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Wright State University (2007-2011). In addition, Corey has obtained several certifications, including a Certified Fraud Examiner (expired) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 2015, a Certified Internal Auditor (expired) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2014, and a Certified Public Accountant from the Accountancy Board Of Ohio in 2013.
