Matt Smith

Matt Smith is an experienced educator and technology leader currently serving as the Deputy Head of Primary - Teaching and Learning and College eLearning Coordinator at Flinders Christian Community College since January 2022. Previously, Matt held multiple roles at Melbourne Grammar School from October 2014 to January 2022, including Head of Learning Technology at Grimwade House, where contributions included the development of a Blended Learning system during COVID-19. Matt has also served as a Minecraft Education Global Mentor for Microsoft and as an Adobe Campus Leader, advocating for creativity in education. Additionally, Matt has extensive experience in implementing innovative learning environments and digital technologies in primary education, having begun a career in the technology sector with Choices Flooring and Coles. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Education - Information Technology from Charles Sturt University and a Bachelor of Education from Victoria University.
