Karey Miles

Karey Miles is an experienced musician and educator with a significant background in both music and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Podcast Host for The Art of Type 2 Fun, Karey focuses on promoting women's outdoor adventures. Simultaneously, Karey holds the position of Conference Center & Guest Experience Coordinator at Flinn Foundation. With over two decades of experience in music, Karey has worked as a pianist, teacher, and vocal coach through various organizations, including Karey Miles Music, East Valley School of Music, and Forte Music School. As the founder and director of the West Coast Women's Cycling Team, Karey has been an advocate for women's cycling since 2011. Karey also has coaching experience and has worked as a certified personal trainer. Academically, Karey holds multiple advanced degrees in Collaborative Piano from Arizona State University and is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts in Music History/Literature & Ethnomusicology.
