Dr Rahul Khanna

Dr. Rahul Khanna is a distinguished psychiatrist and clinical leader with extensive experience in trauma services and mental health governance. Currently serving as Co-Director (Clinical) at Transforming Trauma Victoria and Founding Program Director (Clinical) at Phoenix Australia, Dr. Khanna has been instrumental in designing and establishing the world’s first jurisdiction-wide trauma service. With a background as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Austin Health, Dr. Khanna oversees various clinics and has contributed to the education and supervision of psychiatric trainees. In addition to clinical roles, Dr. Khanna is a Senior Lecturer and PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne, focusing on digital diagnostics for PTSD. Dr. Khanna's previous positions include Director of Innovation & Medical Governance at Phoenix Australia, Co-Founder of Thumos Health, and several board and advisory roles, showcasing a commitment to advancing mental health care through innovative practices and collaborations.
