Eugene Bann

Eugene Bann has a diverse and extensive work experience. Eugene is currently the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Flip (formerly RedRoute) since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Toi Labs as a Founding Team Member and Head of Software from July 2019 to January 2021. At Toi Labs, Eugene was responsible for developing the company's first fully-operational software stack for their smart toilet seat product. Eugene also contributed to various tasks including image processing algorithm design, data engineering, statistical analyses, dashboard development, clinical research, grant writing, and neural network development.

Before their role at Toi Labs, Eugene was a Founding Team Member and Chief Technical Officer at Primed Technologies from December 2017 to December 2018. Eugene invented Genesys, a general conversation AI, and built the initial hardware prototype for the AI using Pi Zeros and other components.

From September 2014 to October 2017, Eugene served as the Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer at X2AI. Eugene was responsible for architecting and building all the technology for X2AI, securing funding and clients.

Eugene also worked as a Quantitative Software Engineer at Valuation Metrics Inc. from August 2014 to August 2015. Eugene'srole involved improving predictive M&A analysis algorithms and automating financial fundamental analysis.

Prior to Valuation Metrics Inc., Eugene was the Founder and Chief Technical Officer at AEIR from October 2012 to October 2014. Eugene'swork at AEIR focused on developing advanced emotion technology, creating automated financial trading algorithms, and conducting defense technology research.

Earlier in their career, Eugene worked at Vistaprint as an Analyst, Global External Marketing Efficiencies from November 2012 to July 2014. Eugene was involved in forecasting, consumer profiling, and big data mining.

Additionally, Eugene has undertaken several freelance contracts as a web developer, including upgrading hardware and software systems for Horstman Defence Systems and conducting social experiments for Experian. Eugene also had a role as an IT Administrator at Horstman Defence Systems for a brief period.

Eugene's work experience dates back to their role as the Managing Director of Senpai Systems Ltd from September 2005 to July 2007.
