Kimberly Grommes

Kimberly Grommes is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Services & IT Engineering Director and previously as the Platform Engineering Director and Senior Engineering Manager at Flipboard since July 2021, Kimberly has held various leadership roles throughout a notable career. Prior experience includes positions as Software Engineering Manager and Lead Software Engineer at Nike from June 2017 to June 2021, and Senior Software Engineer roles at API Healthcare and TEKsystems. In addition to engineering, Kimberly contributed as a bookkeeper and lead mentor for the First Robotics Team 3851. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of New Mexico and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute, complemented by coursework in Data Science through Coursera.
