Surbhi Mathur

Surbhi Mathur is a highly experienced data scientist currently serving as Senior Data Scientist II at Flipkart since March 2020, after previously holding roles as Senior Data Scientist I and Data Scientist within the same company. Prior to Flipkart, Surbhi spent nearly seven years at SAMSUNG R&D INSTITUTE INDIA - BANGALORE PRIVATE LIMITED, advancing from Senior Software Engineer to Senior Lead Engineer, focusing on biometric authentication research for handheld devices. Additional experience includes a summer internship at D. E. Shaw & Co. involving the development of integrated trade accounting applications, and a summer internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where Surbhi designed a 2D pong game using OpenGL. Surbhi holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and an ICSE in Mathematics and Computer Science from Brightlands School.
