Mark Nussmeier

Mark Nussmeier is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in systems engineering and infrared camera technology. Currently serving as the Director of Systems Engineering and Advanced Sensors at FLIR Systems since September 1999, Mark oversees key groups involved in image processing and camera calibration. Previous roles include Director of Systems Engineering at FLIR Commercial Vision Systems and Senior Systems Engineer at FLIR/Indigo Systems. Prior to FLIR, Mark held the position of Chief Product Engineer at Boeing and was a Principal Scientist/Engineer at Hughes Aircraft Company, gaining extensive knowledge in infrared systems. Mark began their career as a Captain in the US Air Force, contributing to launch vehicle programs. Mark obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Caltech.
