John Thompson

John Thompson has over 12 years of experience in the product management field. From 2008 to 2009, they worked at STA Travel as a Global Product Executive, where they managed short iterations for an E-ticket system and acted as a project consultant for an off-the-shelf airfares database. From 2009 to 2016, they worked at ANZ as a Channel Development Manager, Business Systems Analyst, and Transition and Support Analyst. In this role, they acted as a Scrum product owner for a bespoke CRM sales system and supported applications. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Air New Zealand as a Product Manager. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at 9 Spokes as a Senior Product Manager and Product Manager - Channels. Since 2020, they have been employed at MATTR as the Head of Product Operations and Technical Product Manager. Currently, they are employed at Float.com as a Product Manager.

John Thompson attended the University of Reading from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a BSc in Biochemistry with a focus on Science. John also holds a Professional Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum.org.
