Jed Palmater has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Theirwork experience includes Inside Sales Specialist at Eastern Automotive Warehouse, Technical Support Specialist Supervisor at Xplornet Communications, Intern Tester at PQA Testing, Programmer Analyst and Intern Programmer Analyst at Government of New Brunswick/Gouvernement du Nouveau-Brunswick, Full Stack Developer at Eigen Innovations Inc., Software Developer at Patriot One Technologies Inc., Backend Software Developer and Director of Engineering at Haüskey, and Senior Backend Software Engineer at Float.

Jed Palmater attended the New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) from 2008-2009, where they earned an Automotive Service Technician degree in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician. Jed also obtained the Automotive Service Technician Red Seal certification in February 2014. In 2016, Jed returned to NBCC and completed the Information Technology Programmer Analyst program in Computer Science in 2018. In June 2019, they obtained a Workplace First Aid and CPR certification from St. John Ambulance Canada | Ambulance Saint-Jean.
