Gaute Hovdal

Gaute Hovdal is an accomplished Senior Product Development Engineer at Flokk since January 2014, leading development efforts in the R&D department. Prior to Flokk, Gaute held various roles at Cisco, including Lead Product Design Engineer, where notable contributions were made to video conferencing touch controllers. Additionally, work was conducted as a Senior Product Designer at TANDBERG, focusing on the successful 'EX90' video system, and at Kode Design, where award-winning products like the HÅG Futu chair were developed. Earlier experience includes overseeing climbing hardware product development at VAUDE Sport GmbH & Co. KG, freelancing as a design consultant, and working as a Junior Product Designer at Costa Design. Gaute’s academic background includes a BA with Honors in Industrial Design from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and an Erasmus Exchange program at Delft University of Technology.
