Barış Tarcan has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and advertising. Barış started their career in 2006 as an Editor for Mediathink Marketing&Advertising Magazine. Later, they worked as a Digital Content Officer at Bahcesehir University from 2007 to 2010. In 2010, they joined DenizBank as a Content Consultant.
In 2011, Barış became a Sr. Copywriter at BRF Advertising, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they also took on the role of Digital Communications and Social Media Manager at Turkcell Global Bilgi from 2013 to 2016. In this position, they provided digital communication services to various clients, managed projects, developed strategies for social media engagement, and implemented online crisis management plans.
Continuing their career, Barış became the Chief Creative Officer at Pixelhane Dijital Reklam Ajansı in 2016 and further moved on to work as a Marketing Partner at Trink in 2020.
Currently, Barış is the Owner & Branding and Marketing Consultant at Huginn Consultancy & Design since 2017. Additionally, they hold the role of Chief Marketing Officer at FLOQ, starting from 2021.
Throughout their career, Barış has demonstrated expertise in branding, marketing, digital communication, social media management, content development, and project management.
Barış Tarcan holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Advertising and Brand Communication, which they obtained from Bahcesehir University between the years 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration from the same university, attending from 2002 to 2006. Barış completed their high school education at Metin Nuran Çakallıklı Anadolu Lisesi from 1995 to 2002. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Teams&Groups certification in November 2018, and the Web ve Grafik Tasarım Sertifikası from Bilge Adam in July 2007.
