Christopher Tate

Christopher Tate is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in litigation and investigations. Currently a Shareholder at Flora Pettit PC since May 2020, Christopher specializes in complex commercial disputes. Prior roles include Associate positions at Morin & Barkley LLP, focusing on construction law and insurance, and Payne & Hodous LLP, engaged in various civil litigation. Christopher served as Deputy Title IX Coordinator at the University of Virginia, managing investigations of prohibited conduct, and as Senior Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives, overseeing ethics investigations involving Congress members. Christopher's early career featured a role as an Associate Lawyer at K&L Gates, emphasizing white collar criminal defense and civil litigation. Christopher holds a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
