Lawanda Drummer

LaWanda Drummer possesses extensive administrative and project management experience, currently serving in an administrative role at the Orange County Convention Center since March 1998, where responsibilities include composing departmental correspondence and managing confidential projects. In addition, LaWanda has been the Press Box Coordinator for Florida Citrus Sports since 2007, ensuring media outlets remain informed during major sports events. Experience as a Project Manager at GPS-Solutions, Inc. from 2010 to 2015 involved planning, budgeting, and leading project teams, while also fostering business relationships. LaWanda contributed as the Onyx Awards Chairperson for the LBS Foundation, overseeing successful award ceremonies from 2010 to 2013. Earlier professional experience includes an administrative role at Orange County Fire Rescue from 1995 to 1998. LaWanda holds an Associate of Arts degree in Sociology from Valencia College and completed high school at Maynard Evans High School.
