Morgan McCord

Morgan McCord is an experienced communication professional with a strong background in public relations and government affairs. Currently serving as Press Secretary at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity since November 2015, Morgan previously held the role of Director of Communications at Florida TaxWatch and worked in client relations at The Krizner Group, where significant achievements included conducting HR Audits for notable clients and increasing retainer clients. Additional roles included public relations work at Sachs Media Group, human resources assistance at Danfoss Turbocor Compressors, and public policy support for the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a focus on Public Relations and has completed graduate work in Integrated Marketing Communication at Florida State University.
