Leah L. Kammerdiener

Leah L. Kammerdiener is a Glaucoma and Cataract Specialist at Florida Eye Specialists since September 2019, leading a clinical team and managing a wide range of ophthalmic conditions while also conducting clinical research, including Phase III trials. Previously, Kammerdiener served as an Affiliate Professor of Ophthalmology at Medical University of South Carolina, mentoring residents and participating in educational symposiums. Experience also includes developing a sub-specialty glaucoma practice at Lowcountry Eye Specialists and providing on-call ocular trauma services at Trident Medical Center. Kammerdiener completed extensive training, including a Glaucoma Fellowship and an Ophthalmology Residency at Medical University of South Carolina, holding an MD with Distinction in Research from the University of Rochester.
