Christopher DuCoin MD, MPH, FACS, currently serves as the Chief of Digestive Diseases at Tampa General Hospital, where responsibilities include supporting operational growth in gastrointestinal surgery and overseeing robotic surgery practices to enhance access and maintain quality standards. Additionally, Christopher holds the position of Director of Surgical Services and Vice Chair of Surgery at the University of South Florida, focusing on improving efficiencies in operative settings. Previously, Christopher was Chief of the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery, managing multiple surgical sections, and served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tulane Medical Center, specializing in minimally invasive techniques. Earlier training included a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of California, San Diego, and a general surgery role at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
