Rajendra Baliga

Rajendra Baliga, MD, FACP, FASN, FAST, is a specialized General and Transplant Nephrologist with extensive experience in the field. Since 2004, Rajendra has served as President of Florida Kidney Physicians, contributing to the organization’s leadership and development. Additionally, Rajendra holds the position of Medical Director of the Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Program at Tampa General Hospital since June 2018 and serves as a Medical Director at DaVita Kidney Care since 2015. Rajendra's educational background includes a Fellowship in Transplant Nephrology at the University of Chicago (2003-2004), a Fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Florida (2001-2003), and a Doctor of Medicine degree obtained at K E M Hospital, Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College (1994-1997). Rajendra also received an M.B.B.S. in Medicine from the same institution (1988-1994).
