Wanda Wright

Wanda Wright is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media and public relations. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at Florida Memorial University since November 2021, Wanda previously spent over a decade at Food For The Poor, where notable achievements included cultivating media relationships and generating significant press coverage through hundreds of press releases. Additional experience includes producing and writing for NBC 6 South Florida, managing online news at Sun-Sentinel, and fulfilling various roles in broadcasting at WPEC-TV CBS12 News, WFXL FOX 31, and WSVN-TV 7News. Wanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Florida International University and an Associate of Arts from Santa Fe Community College.
