Nancy Staff, J.D., CCEP has a strong and diverse work experience background. Nancy began their career in 1994 with the State of Florida as a Senior Attorney, specializing in ethics and open government, employment and procurement law, appellate practice, and workers compensation. After 12 years with the State of Florida, Nancy served as the Deputy General Counsel for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation for one year before moving on to the FL Department of Revenue, where they were the Deputy General Counsel from 2007 to 2011. Nancy then became the General Counsel for the FL Department of Revenue from 2011 to 2016. After their role with the FL Department of Revenue, Nancy joined Citizens Property Insurance Corporation as the Director-Ethics and Compliance Officer from 2016 to 2023. Currently, Nancy is the Director of Corporate Compliance at Florida Peninsula Insurance Company.

Nancy Staff, J.D., CCEP, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from the University of Florida. Nancy later pursued their legal education at the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law, where they earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) with Honors. Additionally, Nancy obtained a certification in Corporate Compliance and Ethics (CCEP) from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.
