Scott Bores

Scott Bores has a strong background in finance and accounting. Scott is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance at Florida Power & Light Company, a role they assumed in January 2022. Prior to this, from August 2015 to January 2022, they worked as the Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at the same company. Scott also served as the Director of Property Accounting from March 2013 to July 2015 and as the Manager of Property Accounting from September 2011 to February 2013 at Florida Power & Light Company.

Before joining Florida Power & Light Company, Scott worked at Mirant Corporation from July 2006 to September 2011, where they held the position of Manager of Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting. Prior to that, they started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate from 2003 to 2006.

Scott Bores earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Later on, from 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
