Bill Kelvin is a seasoned academic currently serving as a Professor at Florida SouthWestern State College since August 2020. Prior experience includes roles as part-time faculty and research assistant at Kent State University from August 2015 to August 2020, and a volunteer experience with the International Communication Association on the Committee for Sustainability from 2011 to August 2020. Bill has also contributed to education as a Teaching Assistant at Kent State University (2013-2015) and as a Substitute Teacher for the Chico Unified School District (2008-2013). Earlier writing experiences span two positions, as a Writer at Synthesis (2005-2007) and a Contributing Writer at Synthes (2004-2006), alongside work as a Student Grader at CSU, Chico (2003-2006). Bill holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Information from Kent State University (2019), a TESOL certificate from California State University, Chico (2012), a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Chico (2009), and a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from Humboldt State University (2003).
