Christy Gilfert

Christy Gilfert has held various roles at Florida SouthWestern State College. Christy started in October 2017 as the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment and Student Success. In July 2023, they were promoted to the role of Associate Vice President for Academic Success. Additionally, they have also served as the Campus Dean for Student Affairs and Academic Services.

Christy Gilfert obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Rollins College between the years 1995 and 1999. Christy then pursued further education at Capella University, where they earned a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology in 2004. Continuing their academic journey, Christy completed their education at the same university with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Psychology in 2010.
