Bob O’Linn

Bob O’Linn is a surety bond agent at Florida Surety Bonds, Inc., where he serves contractors across the state in all trades, from growing startups to established companies. He also provides court bonds for companies engaged in litigation across the country. Bob loves working as a surety agent because he enjoys listening to and consulting with contractors and business owners to help solve problems. He has been very effective at learning about his customers, advocating for the contractor’s needs with surety underwriters, and counseling contractors on how to obtain the best surety programs possible in changing surety markets.

Prior to joining Florida Surety Bonds, Bob earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Florida, graduating summa cum laude. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating cum laude, with awards for obtaining the highest marks in trial practice and client counseling. After practicing commercial litigation at a firm in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, Bob left the partnership track in favor of helping small businesses in his role at Florida Surety Bonds without charging an ever-increasing hourly rate. He continues to use his experience and background to help his clients achieve their objectives.
