Duncan Clark has a diverse work experience in various companies. In 1999, they started as the Executive Editor at Penguin Books, where they worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they served as a Commissioning Editor at Profile Books Ltd. In 2009, they became the Strategy Director at 10:10. Shortly after, they joined The Guardian as a Consultant Editor and Data Journalist, a role they held until 2016. In 2011, they co-founded Kiln, a data visualization and digital journalism studio. Five years later, they co-founded and became the CEO of Flourish, a visualization platform that was acquired by Canva in 2023. Currently, they work as the Europe Lead at Canva. Additionally, Duncan Clark has authored a book called "The Burning Question" in 2012, which analyzes climate change.
