Support Specialist II at Flow International

Ben Horbul has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ben started their career as a Desktop Support Specialist at the Puyallup School District in 2000. From there, they moved on to work as a Sale/Technician at PC Club, where they built custom spec computers and diagnosed computer problems for customers. In 2001, Ben joined the DigiPen Institute of Technology as a student, working on various game projects until 2007. Ben then took on the role of Associate Manager at Regal Entertainment Group from 2006 to 2009. After that, Ben worked as a Technical Support representative at Demand Media from 2008 to 2012. Following their time at Demand Media, they joined Flow International as a Support Specialist II, where they provided technical support. Their most recent position is with Shape Technologies Group, where Ben has taken on the roles of both System Administrator I and III. Some of their responsibilities in this role include endpoint support and management, writing scripts for software deployment, and creating and managing accounts using various Microsoft tools.

Ben Horbul obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation from DigiPen Institute of Technology. Their education at this institution spanned from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in CODE42 - CERTIFIED ADMINISTRATOR from Code42 in April 2018, and CODE42 - ACCELERATED ADMIN from Code42 in September 2016.
