Eric Mathis

Eric Mathis has extensive work experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. Eric currently holds the position of Senior Vice President - Chief Procurement Officer at Flowers Foods & Subsidiaries. Previously, they worked as the Vice President - Global Strategic Sourcing at Krispy Kreme from 2013 to 2020, where they led the Global Strategic Sourcing Team and developed the overarching Global Sourcing Strategy. Prior to that, they were the Director of Procurement, Global Gum & Candy Category at Mondelēz International from 2011 to 2013, where they created and executed a Global Procurement strategy. Eric also served as the Director of Global Procurement & Strategic Sourcing at Unilever from 2008 to 2011, managing all chemical, packaging, and indirect spend pools globally. Earlier in their career, they held procurement roles at Wise Foods, Schwan's Bakery, Inc., President Baking Company, Sara Lee Baking, Co., and Archer Daniels Midland Company.

Eric Mathis attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics.
