Juan Manuel Gómez Nogueira

Juan Manuel González is a dedicated engineering professional with extensive experience in research, teaching, and practical applications in mechanical engineering. Currently serving as an Ingeniero de investigación y desarrollo at Centro de Energia - FCFM, Universidad de Chile since January 2024, Juan has previously held various academic roles including Profesor Auxiliar in courses related to turbulence and fluid mechanics at Universidad de Chile from March 2015 to August 2023. Juan's hands-on experience includes internships at Ciudad Luz and Energía Marina SpA & Centro Tecnológico MERIC, as well as tutoring in mathematics and physics through TutorUChile. Juan holds a Magíster en Ciencias de la Ingeniería, Ingeniería mecánica and an undergraduate degree in the same field from Universidad de Chile, complemented by an exchange program at Aalto University in 2019.
