Janarthanan Rajan

Janarthanan Rajan is an experienced professional in facility management, currently serving as Director of Global Facility Management at FLSmidth since February 2020, with additional responsibilities as Head of Facility and Travel SAAMESA and Head of Facility & Travel Subcontinent India. Prior to FLSmidth, Janarthanan held the position of Senior Manager Projects & Facility Management at Danfoss, where Janarthanan oversaw the construction of a 50,000 sqm Platinum rated Green R&D and Manufacturing Facility and managed comprehensive facility services. Additional roles include Senior Manager at Daimler AG, where Janarthanan managed a 125,000 sqm truck plant, Facilities Manager at MacLellan Integrated Services for Nokia Telecom SEZ Park, Team Leader for the PCB manufacturing facility project at Aspocomp Group, and Senior Engineer at Pricol Limited focusing on new projects and facility management. Janarthanan began the career as a Maintenance Supervisor at Lakshmi Automatic Loom Works Ltd. Janarthanan holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from The Salem Polytechnic, completed in 1989.
